HEAD OF PEOPLE

You’ll be working closely with the Founder and all stakeholders to help Whirli scale while ensuring we continue to be a fun, high performing, diverse and inclusive place to work.

Candidates will ideally have ~5 years+ of experience in a People function and broad exposure to recruiting, learning & development, compensation and benefits, among other areas (including administrative).

This is our first hire into a formalised People function, and so the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is excited about building a strong People function. They will also be eager to have immediate impact supporting their colleagues whether on recruitment or rolling their sleeves up and creating/reviewing/improving policies.

Senior and Junior Developers

You’ll be working with an in-house team of developers and engineers to continue building the unique Whirli product into a best-in-class sharing economy retail platform. This includes our user facing application, internal operations application, and back-end API and architecture. We are recruiting across the spectrum for full-stack, front-end, or back-end developers.

Front-end engineers need to have experience with Vue.js (or similar Javascript framework), Nuxt.js, Node.js, SCSS, building scalable front-end applications with re-usable components, end-to-end testing, and familiarity with single page applications.

Back-end engineers need to have experience with PHP / Laravel, RESTFUL APIs, building secure and scalable back-end APIs, and end-to-end testing.

Your level of seniority will be determined through our interview and technical testing process. As a guide, in general our Midweight developers have ~2 years+ of commercial experience, and ~4 years+ for Senior developers.
