Help us build the future of play

We are on a mission to make toy sharing the norm and in doing so, creating a more sustainable, equitable and empathetic way for kids to play - while helping parents save money, clutter and waste. Launched in 2019, we've recently completed Seed fundraising of £4m.

Our customers love what we do, we’ve had some great recent press, and now we’re looking for hard-working, fun-loving people to join us for the next stage of growth and innovation. Our offices are based at Aldgate, London with options to work remotely and flexibly.

Take a look at our open roles below.

You’ll be working closely with the Founder and all stakeholders to help Whirli scale while ensuring we continue to be a fun, high performing, diverse and inclusive place to work.

Candidates will ideally have ~5 years+ of experience in a People function and broad exposure to recruiting, learning & development, compensation and benefits, among other areas (including administrative).

This is our first hire into a formalised People function, and so the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is excited about building a strong People function. They will also be eager to have immediate impact supporting their colleagues whether on recruitment or rolling their sleeves up and creating/reviewing/improving policies.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Content and Community manager to establish this new function within our business. An ideal candidate would have experience in both content and community, but we can also consider candidates who have very strong experience in either only.

Community – we are looking for some someone who has 3 – 5 years experience, building online and offline communities. You will identify where our customers hangout and connect with them to build a deeper understanding and love for our brand and mission. You will establish and run our Brand Ambassador program, engaging people both online and in local communities to promote Whirli.

Content - we are looking for someone who has 3 – 5 years experience in creating content that engages and delights customers. This person will be responsible for the strategy, creation, distribution and measurement of brilliant content that gets us noticed. Whether it be through SEO, blogs, visual design, social media, video content, podcasts or other medium, they will know what our customers and similar audiences engage with and will create or commission content that meets to companies goals.

This person will be a self starter from a start-up / consumer-tech background. We are open to discussing how this role is defined and evolves. If you have a minimum of 3 years experience in either area, please feel free to reach out and we will be delighted to discuss this further with you.

We’re looking for a talented and ambitious mid-weight designer. Reporting to the Head of Product, this role will work closely with the product, engineering and brand/growth teams to help shape Whirli's customer experience, internal tooling and marketing site / acquisition flow.

You’ll be executing on the end to end design process, participating in a collaborative agile product development process, owning Whirli’s visual design system and ensuring high-quality output across all our channels, while balancing user needs with commercial goals.

If you have 3+ years of UX/UI or product design experience (ecommerce, sharing economy or subscription services a bonus), a portfolio of work you’re proud to talk through and are comfortable in a fast-growing, outcome-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Customer Services Associates are friendly and care passionately about delivering excellent customer service to our subscribers.

They will be using Zendesk, responding to customer’s emails, DMs and live chats.

We are looking for people who are able to commit to between 24 – 40 hours per week. We are highly flexible and with suitable notice and planning, can accommodate different patterns of working, so long as our core service hours are sufficiently covered by the team. The role can either be fully remote, a blend of remote and office based or fully office based (Aldgate, London).
