Description
With 92 cards in a colourful popcorn container, Learning Resources Pop for Blends teaches early reading and spelling. Designed for children in early Key Stage 1, it's great for one player or more. Every time a child draws a popcorn card, they must read the word blend on the front. This is a blend of two letters, like 'br' or 'cl'. If they correctly read the sound on the card, they'll keep it for their own pile. If they draw a 'POP!' card, they'll have to return all of their cards to the box. Can they clear the popcorn box whilst getting more cards than other players?
Your little one's literacy skills will improve, as they play on their own or in competition with their friends, classmates or siblings. You can also extend the game as they grow, encouraging them to add two letters of their own to create a real four-letter word. This fast-paced game, intended for children in early primary school, makes it easy to learn to read.
