How much does it cost?

Plans start from around £13/month for 80 tokens (small toy box) and go up to 240 tokens (x-large toy box). Pay monthly, half-yearly or yearly. Annual plans are cheaper per month and include the full token allowance from day one. See full pricing.

Question 2

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Pay-monthly subscribers can cancel any time. Pay-half-yearly and pay-yearly subscribers can cancel from 14 days before their next renewal. Return your toys, then cancel from your account before the renewal date.

Question 3

What's the introductory period?

Accepted Answer

New pay-monthly subscribers get a reduced token allowance for the first 3 months: 25% in month 1, 50% in month 2, 75% in month 3, then full allowance from month 4. This protects against theft. Pay half-yearly or yearly to skip the introductory period and get the full allowance immediately.

Can I buy toys instead of renting?

Yes. We sell brand new toys at retail price (Buy New) and previously enjoyed toys from our rental library at around 75% of token value (Buy Pre-Loved). Both are open to non-subscribers and can be added to your basket alongside a rental order.

Can I gift Whirli to someone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any plan or service, and you can gift specific Buy New or Buy Pre-Loved toys directly to the recipient. See our gifting page for options.

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We deliver across the UK, including Northern Ireland and the British Isles. Standard delivery is 3-4 business days at £3.49, with nominated-day options available. Subscribers can add Delivery Booster for unlimited free standard delivery and returns.

Are your toys clean and safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every toy returned to our facility is checked, sterilised and prepared for the next family. They're typically cleaner than toys at daycare or nursery. All Whirli toys meet UK and EU safety standards.Read more about our cleaning process.

Question 8

What if my child breaks or loses a toy?

Accepted Answer

Fair wear and tear is expected. If a toy is damaged beyond use or goes missing, we'll charge a residual-value fee based on how long you had it. The fee is always less than the toy's RRP and we'll never charge more than fair. Full details in our terms and conditions.

Question 9

What if my family loves a toy and wants to keep it?

Accepted Answer

After 12 months at home, the toy is yours to keep at no extra cost. Or you can buy it sooner via your account at a price that decreases the longer you've had it. Either way, the tokens come back to your account so you can order something else.

What is Whirli?

Whirli is a UK toy subscription service. You pay a monthly, half-yearly or yearly fee for a token allowance, then choose toys from our library worth that many tokens. When your child is done, swap them for something new. A rotating toy box without the clutter or the waste.

Question 11

How does Whirli work?

Accepted Answer

Pick a plan with a token allowance (80, 120, 160 or 240 tokens). Order toys from our library worth up to that amount in tokens. Play as long as you like. When you're done, send them back and we'll refund the tokens to your account so you can order something new. We call this a swap and you can swap as often as you like.

Families with children aged 0 to 8. We stock over 1,000 toys covering babies, toddlers, preschoolers and primary-age children. You can filter by age, skill or toy type to find the right thing for your child.
